We use efficacious plant extracts that are sustainably sourced from around the world. Our products are formulated without parabens, phthalates, SLS, mineral oils, petroleum, paraffin, DEA, TEA or Formaldehyde Donors.
No Chemicals or Parabens
Parabens are preservatives used in the process of making cosmetics. Although these extend product shelf life, they have also been shown to disrupt estrogen production. These have also been related to breast cancer, weakened liver and a poor immune system. BWG Botanics are made without the use of such ingredients.
No Strong Scents
Many cosmetics have strong smells, which can be irritating for some.
Those with asthma, sinusitis, migraines and breathing problems may be particularly bothered by these strong smells.
Our products have milder scents arising from essential oils only.
Non-Irritating
Even people who do not have sensitive skin may experience problems with most cosmetics. These can dry skin, bring about itching and redness, or even trigger skin problems. Those who suffer from eczema and type of dermatitis are especially prone to irritation.
Our natural ingredients are gentle enough on the skin, even when used daily. This prevents any irritation that can come about and allows even those in our community with sensitive skin and delicate skin conditions to enjoy using our products repeatedly.
Non Comedogenic
Our products do not build up in the pores and can easily be removed or washed off, leaving the skin and pores free of any substance that may block them. Even with daily use, our products allow the skin to breathe.
Nourishes Skin
Like many other products made with organic ingredients, natural cosmetics help nourish the skin. Ingredients like Vitamin E, witch hazel, coconut oil and more are commonly used in our products. These are also full of antioxidants that can help ward off early signs of ageing or keep the skin looking good.
Safer For The Environment.
With the many synthetic and chemical ingredients used to produce traditional cosmetics, the environment is also affected. Bi-products of the production process can harm the air, ozone layer, bodies of water and more.
Not Tested On Animals
Many products that go through the normal process of cosmetic production undergo rigorous testing on animals. Not only are the methods cruel, but they also endanger the animals on which the products are tested. BWG Botanics do not use animal testing since the ingredients used are already known to be safe for humans.
Does Not Age Skin
Regular cosmetics contain many different ingredients, including chemicals, fillers, preservatives and artificial colours, to name a few. While not everyone may be allergic to these things, applying these to the skin can cause the skin to age more quickly.

Sourcing
Not all essential oils are created equally. BWG Lifestyle Club will never knowingly compromise by adding synthetics, contaminants, cheap fillers or partake in unethical production practices. Our quality control officer guides the process of sourcing products from carefully vetted corporate-owned farms, partner farms, and Seed to Seal-certified suppliers and testing them extensively. If our exhaustive tests show that a product doesn’t meet our standards, we don’t buy it or reject the batch.
